Born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Los Angeles, I was the kid with a camera always in hand, a guitar swung around my neck, or cooking alongside my mother in the kitchen. From a young age, it was evident that a career in the arts was what I wanted to pursue, which first led me to follow my love for music; I wanted to be a ROCK STAR! (Check Out The Link) After a stint in the music biz and finally landing a record deal in my twenties, I experienced the brutal reality associated with the record biz (too many crazy stories to tell). I decided to walk away from my music career because the idea of sleeping in my car or a rat-infested apartment off Sunset blvd with twenty others was not OK with me. My passion for art, photography, and design became my 24/7 focus and main hustle. The start of an extraordinary career in entertainment marketing and promotions had begun.

Working in entertainment media has been, at times, fortuitous, but with that said, I don't take a single experience for granted. I'm grateful for the many mentors and colleagues to help me along the way — I also don't take myself too seriously. Life is too short, so I take myself out of my comfort zone regularly. Personally speaking, being uncomfortable has driven me to fulfill many career goals. One of my proudest to date was launching a full-service creative agency, United Front Design, in 2008, where I held the post of Executive Creative Director. I collaborated closely with my creative teams and clients during my nine-year tenure with UFD. This resulted in award-winning work that successfully delivered on brand and drove growth for many networks, cable, and studio clients.

My methodology for successful leadership Is simple; lead by example, give credit where credit is due, embrace the decisions you make, and take responsibility for your mistakes. That proven formula has worked for me and has been instrumental in the myriad of projects I've delivered, on time, under budget, and always with attention to detail.

I am a career student, always wanting to learn something new, and a big believer in personal reinvention. One of the items on my bucket list was to take my passion for the culinary arts to the next level by attending and graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education in Pasadena. I'm excited about combining my breadth of experience in media and technology with the culinary world to create new and unique experiences — it's the perfect recipe for the next chapter in my career.

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling with my wife and adult kids, hanging out with my beautiful Wheaten Terrier, Kaia (she's my gurl), or in the kitchen, cooking up a spicy meal; for family & friends. I also love playing my electric guitar on 11! 🎸

I look forward to connecting, working together, and helping you succeed in your next project!
